Here’s how Max Collins takes care of her combination skin

The actress has a surprisingly simple beauty routine.

Despite her busy schedule, Max Collins maintains quite a harmonious skincare routine. She does this by sticking to the basics, adding many products only when her skin needs it. Being cautious of her skin type makes effects easier for her as well because she knows the issues her routine has to address.” I’ve combination skin so I always have to make sure to hydrate (or differently it gets too dry), and I make sure to apply color (or it gets too unctuous),” she tells Preview.

Also, the actress has her own approach to skincare that balances its simplicity and her love for beauty.”I have realized that it’s okay to trial with different products — whatever worked for me last time may not work presently and that is okay. The most important thing is changing what works for you at the moment,” Max muses.

Step 1: Cleanser

Max kicks off her routine with a good cleanser, and her favorite is a cheering one from MET Tathione.” This has helped lighten my dots and sunspots over the times,” she explains. She uses it both day and night — that’s how important she swears by it.

After a full day of shoots and events, the actress removes her makeup with binary-phase sanctification water. She raves about the bones from EB Advance,”It really gets (everything) off!”

Step 2: Exfoliator & Face Mask

When she finds the time, Max exfoliates her face with a kitchen creation of coffee grounds and honey.” My skin is incontinently brighter after,” she says. Admitting that the process is relatively messy, the results supposedly make the clutter worthwhile.”It’s actually like a mask, too, because I leave it on for a while just so the nutrients can sink by. It has a tensing effect as well,” adds the actress.

Step 3: Toner

As mentioned, one of Max’s must-plutocrats for her unctuous areas is color. She uses the C Embrocation from Faces & Angles to help her T- zone from looking redundant and candescent and producing further canvas than usual.

Step 4: Serums

The unique thing about her skincare routine is that Max prefers to apply serums in the morning than at night. She loves the Superseries from Glossier that address hydration, breakouts, and dullness. “I alternate serums to give my skin extra nutrients,” she explains.

Step 5: Moisturizer

This lightweight moisturizer from Kiehl’s hydrates Max’s combo skin like a dream. It’s oil-free as well, which is why she likes using it both day and night.
