Are Cheek Fillers Painful?
Even if the shots didn’t sting too bad, theres a part-needle point and your ass about to be mad sore in that following day. After the surgery, the fullness in your face and new filler will be stiff for about a week- or maybe two as you adjust to it. It’s not a sharp or even excruciating pain, but it is irritating and God HELP you if your cheek touches another persons (OUCH).
For five or six days I had a bit of fatty cheeks but it eventually came back to shape. The cheek filler didn’t really hurt afterwards, but now I feel like when I lie on my side the only time in lockdown spent with a face cushioned by memory foam pillow is excruciatingly more painful That sounds weird, but that is just what I have faced.
What the Recovery Process is How
I did not find the cheek filler have a recovery time. Yes, my face hurt a little bit but I went to breakfast and dinner party that day with no issues & saw immediate results which were AMAZING!
My cheeks were swollen for a couple of weeks as I mentioned and would hurt if they it got knocked into — giving out cheek kisses etc. It can be difficult to wash if you are in the habit of always wiping your face strong and forcefully, but again this is a big no-no as that hurts!
Avoid heavy activity for 24-48 hours after treatment. Sleep flat on your back the first night, and skip facials for two weeks since you should avoid massage during that time. Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours to reduce chances of infection and do not use any active skincare products like retinol or AHAs for about a week or two. Finally, do not ice the area — you want that blood flow!
Hyafilia Grand is easy to administer and cheek filler can get you back on your feet right after lunch for additional work hours. You can expect some minor bruising, and swelling but generally nothing too bad. Eg in my case I had minimal bruising, and very little swelling.

How Long Does Cheek Filler Last?
Cheek filler can last up to 12 months, sometimes even longer. After your initial treatment at Ageless Clinics, you’ll need a review about four weeks later. This ensures the filler has settled as intended, with most swelling gone by then. If you haven’t achieved the desired cheekbone volume, your clinician might add more filler during this appointment.
