The hosts for the evening were Loewe’s creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

According to Vogue, “This year’s co-chairs represent a diverse range of career accomplishments, each with unique connections to the Met Gala.”

The exhibition includes around 250 pieces from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection, many of which are too delicate to be worn again.

The items will be presented using technologies like AI and GCI, highlighting themes of land, sea, and sky.

Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, described the exhibition as “a tribute to nature and the emotional depth of fashion.”

“I hope this exhibition will inspire a deeper appreciation for fashion’s sensory qualities,” Bolton added. Taylor Russell movies
