Everything you need to know about Euphoria Season 3 beauty, straight from the artist behind it.

When Euphoria Season 3 finally arrives on HBO, it brings with it a completely reimagined beauty vision. Lead makeup artist Donni Davy — the woman behind the glitter tears, rhinestone brows, and bold graphic liner that defined the show’s first two seasons — has taken everything fans love and pushed it into a harder, glossier, more emotionally loaded direction.

So what exactly does the makeup look like in Euphoria Season 3? Here’s a complete character-by-character breakdown.

What Makes Euphoria Season 3 Makeup Different

Before diving into each character, you need to understand the philosophy driving Euphoria Season 3’s beauty. Davy has one word for it: feral.

“It’s the most glam season yet — very tight-lined eyes, piercing eyes, frosty eyelids, high-contrast lip liner, frosty lips.”

Euphoria Season 3 is a direct response to years of clean-girl minimalism dominating beauty culture. “We’ve been in a clean-girl makeup trend for years now and it’s soul crushing to see everyone look the same,” Davy says. This season is the antithesis of that — full coverage foundation, body glitter, juicy lips, and sparkly eyes.

And if you’ve heard the rumor that Euphoria Season 3 went light on glitter — don’t believe it. “We went through jars of Glitterpuck,” Davy confirms.

Every Character’s Makeup in Euphoria Season 3

Rue Bennett (Zendaya)

Rue is the exception to the glamour rule in Euphoria Season 3. She’s wearing almost no makeup — and that’s entirely deliberate. “Rue is having a very makeup-less season,” Davy explains. Her signature look remains her naturally dewy skin and brushed-up brows.

Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney)

Cassie brings the frosty glam in Euphoria Season 3, with her look pulling directly from Pamela Anderson’s early 2000s aesthetic. “Cassie is full glam, frosty eyes, frosty lips,” says Davy. Her dedicated shade in the Half Magic palette is pink — chosen because pink captures her emotional core perfectly.

Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie)

One of the biggest Euphoria Season 3 makeup surprises is Maddy’s lips. “Oh my God, Maddy’s lips are kind of like their own character this season,” someone on set told Davy. More matte, more high-contrast, more fierce — she’s in her business era, and her makeup shows it.

Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer)

Jules has the most emotionally complex makeup story in Euphoria Season 3. Now living as a sugar baby, she’s using makeup to perform for the male gaze rather than to express herself. “She’s lost a bit of her spark,” Davy explains. “She’s still using makeup, but it’s no longer fun.”

Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow)

Lexi’s Euphoria Season 3 look is prim, polished, and quietly special. Her signature red lip continues, with Davy’s team custom mixing brownish reds, mauvy reds, and bricky reds. Her standout moment? A white eyeshadow with a hidden duochrome of peach and green — “not just a white, it’s got some other magic in it.”

Rosalía as Magick

The most exciting new Euphoria Season-3 makeup look belongs to Rosalía, making her acting debut as Magick. Her signature: severely darkened brows drawn in with an aggressive black line. Davy calls it one of her all-time favorite looks she’s ever created for the show.

The Half Magic x Euphoria Season 3 Collection

Alongside the season, Davy’s brand Half Magic Beauty launched its first official Euphoria Season 3 collaboration — a nine-piece collection featuring a character palette, limited-edition Glitterpuck shades, face gems, and lip gloss. Available at Ulta Beauty from April 29.

Why Euphoria Season 3 Makeup Matters Right Now

Euphoria Season-3 arrives at a perfect cultural moment. Searches for “Euphoria makeup” were already surging before the premiere, as beauty culture shifts back toward maximalism after years of clean-girl dominance.

“I hope everyone embraces this feral, unapologetic, anti-clean girl high glam,” Davy says. “Think body shimmer, juicy lips, and sparkly eyes that pop.”

Euphoria Season-3 is streaming now on HBO.
